Life is fun

Hello I am Matthias!

I am already one year old and still the youngest of the gang of little rascals (german: Rasslbande).

I believe I have been an ideal baby. At night there were no troubles: When I wanted to sleep I slept without problems. During day every visitor was welcomed by a bright smile.

Now I am no baby anymore and very mobile. I love most to climb. It does not pacify my parents when I mount every stairway and chair in the house. At the top I am so happy about the reached goal that I can easily fall down again because of my jumping. I really don't know where the problem for my parents is. That's what they are for. They have to take care that I don't fall down. Therefore, why do they always say "Matthias, no!" and shake their heads? They just have to stand next to me and have to catch me in case. The rest of the time they have to laud my climbing. A child needs attention!

Well, they don't always realize at once what I am doing. Namely, I am a quiet contemporary. I keep quiet, watch the surrounding and strike fast and hard as soon as there is a good chance. Even Fiona had to learn that she has to share her toys with me.

What else do I right now with lots of patience? Oh, I can browse endlessly. I browse in books, magazines, catalogs, or newspapers. My parents think I practice my fine motor skills, because I turn every single page. Of course, this is nonsense. I look at the pictures and read the interesting passages.

I am also interested in techniques very much. Chargers, cables, and power outlets are a paradise for me. You can hardly imagine which differences there are. And toy cars! I love toy cars. I drive them through the whole house or gnaw off their tires with my teeth.

But please, don't argue now I am an one-sided jerk only interested in techniques. Well, my dad is an engineer. However, I have my creative side too. As soon as there sounds a song I start to join in singing and clapping. Either Fiona and I play together the xylophone or I sing in the microphone while Fiona mauls the keyboard.

In general it is fun to play together with my sister. We both always hang around together and laugh a lot. Fiona can be really happy that I am tough and don't cry all the time.

I love my sister very much. Dear Fiona, it is great being together with you, Mum and Dad.

PS: This page is written by my Dad. Don't play always solely with my sister but also with me!

PPS: Since I am growing that fast this link will bring you to further pages about me.
